SUMMARY
Down: First wireframes, based on the kick-off conversation with the stakeholders.
Pain Points
TIME
Users are busy doing other business tasks.
ACCESSIBILLITY
The app must be able to be used by a wide range of users with different abilities.
AI
Many options to interact. The user mustn’t be overwhelmed by the possibilities.
Objetive
Key user with a very wide range: It will be used by men and women, of different ages between 20 and 70 years, with a federal demographic profile. Therefore it has to be a simple, clean, and intuitive app.
User Experience
Although UX design was not my specific role, I always worked with the user as the focus.
I made different views for the same screen, with the aim that the user can choose how the information is displayed, according to your convenience.
Colors
Each activity is displayed in different, vibrant colors, inspired by the material design palette, which gives the interface (based on the color white) a modern and dynamic look.
This application uses a single solid and intense color representing each section.
Typography
Roboto is a geometric sans-serif typeface: clean, neat, and user-friendly.
Is thoughtfully designed for a wide range of devices, sizes, and resolutions and features 12 different weights. Also, supports Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic scripts.
Down: Pilar CAME Hi-Fi
Main screens mockups for mobile resolution, made in Sketch.
Multiplatform
Orient to mobile devices at the beginning of my work, to later adapt them to desktops with designs that grow dynamically to occupy the available space and take advantage of the new functions of the device.
Final Design
After 3 years, the app continues to work and can be downloaded from Google Play, with successful reviews regarding its ease of use.
Take Aways
From this work, I learned the need to work with a solid design system.
In the first contact, the clients said that it would be a minimal job, with only a few key screens…but then it ended with more than 30 screens!
It made me a bit chaotic to go ahead with just a system of colors, grids, and fonts. So, it is imperative to be able to define from the beginning, a set of rules, without losing focus on what is a living system, constantly evolving.
